Is your campus group stuck in a rut? Do you want to improve your hunger and homelessness work? Does your group need a speaker for Hunger and Homelessness Awareness Week or a lecture series? The National Student Campaign is here to help!

Throughout the year, our staff travels to campuses across the country to train students to make an impact on these pressing social problems. With the help of our staff, you'll learn organizing skills and secrets, and give your campus group a shot of energy and inspiration to kick the semester into high gear.

Over the past twenty-five years, the National Student Campaign has worked with thousands of students at campuses nationwide to develop effective programs that address the issues of hunger and homelessness. Each member of our staff has extensive training in campaign strategy, grassroots organizing, event planning, and hunger and homelessness issues and are able to speak about a variety of issues and skills. Below are sample issue briefings and trainings we're available to run. However, there are plenty of topics not listed below that we can cover. If your campus has interest in a training that is not listed below, please let us know.

Possible Workshops and Trainings

We can tailor your site visit to best fit what your group is looking to accomplish. A typical outline for a site visit would look like this:

Run 1-2 trainings and a planning session
Meet with lead students individually or as a group
Speak with administrators and faculty
Interview with the campus and community newspapers

For the cost of staff time and travel, a member of the National Student Campaign staff will visit your campus to give trainings and briefings for a student group or the whole campus.
